A range of binding options for the submission of bound documents for academic assessment
We can produce a durable book, with black hard back covers and gold blocked lettering on both the cover and spine for all your Dissertation printing requirements. Below are some of the services available but please check with your local office for capability.
Hard Back Channel Binding & Gold Blocking – bound hard back book with embossed lettering on the front and spine if required, with a matt buckram style cloth material cover. Gold lettering can be applied on the front page using a maximum of three lines top & bottom and a maximum of 32 letter characters (including spaces) on each line. As an additional element we can gold block a single line of text on the spine of each book. As all text is set by hand we offer a next day service on this option. The system is a clamp binding type and as such it can be opened up and have replacement pages inserted but there would be a nominal charge for this. Lettering can be metallic gold or silver if required. A4 portrait only.
The Digi-Foil System allows us to print gold & silver foil text and solid logo’s directly onto black hard back document covers, flexible poly-covers, frosted acetate and printed and laminated case-bound and perfect bound books.
Standard services are 2-3 days but ‘express’ options are often available at an additional cost.
The ‘Ashgate Fastbind’ system adds another solution – hard case books for marketing projects, academic submissions and architectural presentations. Students can now present their work in a unique and impressive original book format from A5 up to A2 sizes. Refer to Hardcase Binding for more information.
We offer the same professional level of service to our student customers as we do for our commercial / corporate customers.
